I Used GTP last year but I can’t remember my UserID and Password?

If you used GTP last year, select Forgot Login and enter the email address that you used for your account. You will then receive an email from the GTP Support Center with a link that contains your UserID and allows you to select a new Password. You will then use that UserID and new Password to access your new GTP account.

I no longer have access to the email address that I used for my account, can you change it for me?

Unfortunately, no. If you no longer have access to the email address that you used for your account, you may no longer access that account and you must set up a new GTP account using your new email address. You will not be able to access copies of any tax returns completed for prior years.

How do I get an Access Code if I am NOT associated with a GTP Group Use Institution?

Anyone may purchase an Individual Access Code from our website at https://www.arcticintl.com/gtp_usage.asp by selecting to order an Individual use license.

I just want to get a copy of my prior year tax return – can I still login?

If you log into GTP using login information from a prior year, any tax returns prepared for 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, or 2023 will be accessible to you by selecting “Review/Print My Prior Year Tax Returns”. For future years, if you need to get a copy of any tax returns prepared in GTP, simply login into your GTP record and select “Review/Print My Prior Year Tax Returns” from the main menu. If you do not use GTP for a tax year (e.g., you skip a tax year), your record will be terminated and you will not be able to access tax returns from prior years. If you wish to use GTP to prepare a tax return for the new tax year, you must obtain an Access Code.

I Used GTP last year but now GTP asks me for an access code – how do I get that?

Each year you must obtain a new Access Code to use GTP. If you used GTP in a prior year, you may still login to obtain your past year’s tax return; however, if you wish to use GTP to prepare a tax return for the current tax filing year, you must obtain an Access Code for the current tax filing year. You may obtain an Access Code from your host/sponsoring institution if that institution has purchased a license for GTP or you purchase an Individual Access Code from our website at https://www.arcticintl.com/gtp_usage.asp by selecting to order an Individual use license.

I logged into GLACIER and the menu option for GTP is not available to me or is greyed out.

If the menu option is not available, either: you are not eligible to use GTP because you were a resident alien for the tax year in question or your institution has not yet made GTP via GLACIER available.
